Our very own Bludwyng has posted an important warning regarding phishing scams in our Aion forum: "The most common one is a private whisper wishing you a Merry Christmas and telling you to go to a web site to get a special gift from NCSoft. This is a scam! When you go there and enter your username and password, your account is hijacked, your toons stripped, all your possessions sold, and the kinah transferred to a mule account."

NCsoft has published a security notice reminding players to change their passwords regularly and to never share their account information with anyone. NCsoft will never send you an in-game link or ask for your name and password.
