1.100 Producers Note

Patch version 1.100 is now up and running on all servers! Over on the Camelot Herald, Producer Mark Davis wrote a brief review of the new Dragon Scale loot that went into the game today, below is what he had to say, and to read the 1.00 patch notes, click here:

The Camelot team would like to welcome you to version 1.100!

In this version we're introducing Dragon Scales, a new type of alternate currency that drops off all of the dragons, including Goldestandt, Cuuldurach, Gjalpinvulva, Xanxicar, Nosdoden, Myrddraxis, and Draco, their minions.  These Dragon Scales can be bartered for Draconic Stones, Dragon remains, and Dragon treasure.  The Dragon's aren't exactly going to part with their scales easily, so would-be Dragon hunters beware!  We've also included some improvements and balancing work for Ice Wizards, Maulers, and Vampiirs.   In addition to all of this, we've done some behind the scenes work on reducing the amount of spam those pesky gold farmers can spew out.

Also, don't forget about the Midwinter Festival that kicks off from December 17th through January 14th and brings celebration and decoration to the coldest and darkest times of the year. Tavern Keepers decorate their buildings with festive adornments. Citizens of each Realm will set up decorated evergreens in the festival grounds and offer to part with holiday greenery for those who provide them with assistance.  The Realms will be visited by Olibar, the Midwinter Tomte, Santa Nicholas (Albion), Lucia of the Light (Hibernia), and Jack Frost (Midgard) each who come to bring Midwinter cheer and gifts.  Players may also participate in the Trinkets for Tots quest to round out this season of giving.

As always, we're thankful for all of your continued support and wish everyone a very happy holiday season!

We'll see you on the battle field!
