BioWare Prepares for Dragon Age Launch on Nov. 3

BioWare continues to post more news for Dragon Age: Origins as it prepares for the game's launch next week. First of all, the company has announced that the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of Dragon Age: Origins have gone gold for its Nov. 3 launch in North America. Also, BioWare unveiled its Dragon Age toolset today, which will allow you to create content like dungeon crawls, campaigns and cutscenes.

If that's not enough for you, BioWare has launched the first chapter of Dragon Age Journeys, a free-to-play browser-based game set in the Dragon Age world. In addition, the company is inviting 10 teams of four players each to participate in the Wardens' Quest, a 24-hour gaming event. Each winning team member will receive $12,500. The competition kicks off on Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. GMT (3 a.m. PDT) and can be viewed live on the Wardens' Quest Web site. BioWare staff and costumed actors will be there to enhance the theatrics, so it should be interesting to watch.

We're excited for the game's launch, which can be seen in our hands-on preview and our interviews with the co-founders of BioWare and Executive Producer Mark Darrah. Do you plan on picking up Dragon Age: Origins next week?
