Turbine just announced that Siege of Mirkwood, the new digital expansion for Lord of the Rings Online, will launch on Dec. 1 in North America. The company also revealed a ton of pre-launch offers today, including a new Adventurer's Pack that contains two character slots, a Harbinger's Cloak that provides an 8% speed boost, a Dusky Nimblefoot Goat mount, and the ability to share 20 items with all your characters on the same server.

You can buy Siege of Mirkwood for $19.99 or as a bundle with the Adventurer's Pack for $39.99. There's also a couple of ways to get the expansion for free. Existing lifetime members who pre-order the Adventurer's Pack get a free copy of Siege of Mirkwood, as do players who renew or upgrade their subscription to any multi-month plan by Oct. 31. Lifetime memberships are currently available for $199.
