Threat of Peace #16 Released; Reveals Coming Soon

Threat of Peace #16 has been released on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic site and features Jedi Grand Master Zym visiting the ruins of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to learn more about the attack on the Envoy. You can read the issue here.

Since most Star Wars: The Old Republic fans get a little agitated when the only update on Friday is a new issue of the Web comic, Sean Dahlberg explained in a post on the official forums that next week's post will be great. "Also, convention season is now over, the Austin Game Developers' Conference being the last. With that out of the way, we are ramping up our announcements and reveals," he said. You can read Dahlberg's full post below.

I’m mainly going to reiterate my post from last Friday. This week and last week are going to fairly light as we prepare for some upcoming announcements and reveals for next month (and throughout the rest of the year). We will be publishing Threat of Peace #16 this week. Next week’s posting we have something great lined up for you, though.

I do apologize for any agitation some of you may be experiencing because of this. While we know that some people may become upset over a delay, if something is not ready to be released, it's just not ready to be released. We would rather postpone something a few weeks rather than put it out when it's not ready. This includes having everything ready for our entire community so that those who read English, French, and German get their information at the same time.

Like I said, though, next week will be a good one. Also, convention season is now over, the Austin Game Developers’ Conference being the last. With that out of the way, we are ramping up our announcements and reveals.

For those of you who normally just check in for our weekly updates and want to know what's going up before coming to the site, we have a few things for you.

If you're using a RSS Reader, make sure to add The Old Republic RSS News to it.

Whenever we have an update on the official website, we also bring these releases to you on some of the social networks. You can find pages for The Old Republic at the following:

And, of course, we also have The Old Republic Newsletter which is sent out to highlight major updates and announcements.

Another thing to note, our community has steadily been growing due to the convention season as well as the expansion of the site to the French and German languages. While some of the questions people have been asking may have been previously answered, realize that the poster may be someone new to the community or someone who hasn’t been following as closely. When responding to these posts, do so respectfully and help these new members get up to speed with The Old Republic.
