INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Version 1.99!  As many of you know, much if the game play in Dark Age of Camelot is driven by RvR, and a solid RvR game play experience is dependent on a large population.  While the population of our Devon cluster has remained healthy, the population of our Killibury and Bossiney clusters have fluctuated, which can make good RvR difficult to find.  To address that issue, Version 1.99 introduces the ability for Devon, Killibury, and Bossiney characters, as well as their houses, guild data, and guild houses, to transfer over to our brand new server called Ywain.  It is our wish that these three communities come together at last and have some great times out in RvR!

We appreciate your patience through this process!

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Added the "/freexfer" command, which allows you to transfer your character to servers enabled to receive transfers.

 - Added the guild transfer commands, "/gc packhouse" and "/gc transfer", which will allow a guild leader to pack a house for transferring it to a new server, and to pack a guild for transfer with the player to the new server.

 - The "/gc transfer" command leaves the original guild in a state where it cannot invite new players and cannot invite other guilds into an alliance or be invited into an alliance. It can also not have a house transferred to it in this state. The new version of the guild on the destination server will function normally.

 - Your guild name is transferred with you when you use the "/gc transfer" command.

 - Transferred guilds can be reformed with as few as two people in your group.

 - The house repossession and the "/gc packhouse" processes will collect the consignment merchant object and all hookpoint objects to be transferred or saved. The consignment vault contents will also be collected during the "/gc packhouse" process.

 - Players on Classic servers who are level 50 will be required to accept or complete the quest "Classic Transfer Gift" before using /freexfer. This quest is given by the Royal Accountant in the Capital Cities and gives special Master Level tokens which can be traded in to grant Master Levels 1 through 5 once players arrive on Ywain.

 - Players transferring from Classic servers to Ywain will be able to visit the following NPCs to trade in the Classic versions of any of the new Dragon drops or Shrouded Isles chest pieces for the ToA version: Trishy in Camelot, Brohd in Jordheim, or Elenora in Tir na Nog.

Ywain Note: For the time being, any time you us the slash commands to invite a player to a group or guild who is on a different Ywain number from you, the correct syntax is "/invite -Ywain#" or "/gc invite -Ywain#."  Inviting someone via the "Invite" button works as normal.  Our next version will work towards removing all of the -Ywain# portion of the names.
