Even after its announcement at E3 last week, the Star Wars: The Old Republic team has just revealed the game's next playable class, and it's the Smuggler! While they don't wear armor, Smugglers are fast on their feet and generally have a blaster by their side to help them get out of trouble.

In these war-torn times, Smugglers seek to make a profit by transporting sought-after items, from goods to fugitives. When caught in battle, "Smugglers often rely on the element of surprise, using stealth and trickery to catch opponents off guard," but they can also hold their own in a fair fight.

While Smugglers aren't the most law-abiding citizens in the galaxy, they do generally tend to side with the Republic since the Sith is so controlling.
