Enter Wally West

While it's been obvious for some time that the Flash was going to be making an appearance in DC Universe Online, Sony Online Entertainment made it official today with this months character spotlight. Wally West was originally known as the first "Kid Flash" who grew up to be a time-honored member of the Justice League. He can run at the speed of sound and even vibrate molecules so fast that he can travel through solid objects.

While SOE hasn't announced many of the "Rogues" that will directly oppose this hero of speed; it doesn't take much research to find a full list of potential villains. Make sure to check out our DC Universe Online media gallery and stay tuned for more information about Flash (Wally West) after the jump.

As The Fastest Man Alive, Wally West easily runs at the speed of light, vibrates through objects, creates explosions through friction - and, when at top velocity, can manipulate time and bridge dimensions – without breaking a sweat. Once West dons his distinct, vibrant suit, The Flash becomes a recognizable icon blazing across the landscape at top speeds to stop crime wherever it may be occurring throughout the city.

The Flash is a time-honored member of the Justice League.  The latest in a long line of Flashes, each with their own unique way of tapping into the primal "Speed Force," Wally is determined to live up to the noble legacies of legendary speedsters such as Barry Allen, Max Mercury, and Jay Garrick.

The Flash's enemies call themselves the Rogues Gallery. This deadly collection of brutal foes includes Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Mirror Master, and the lethal speedster Zoom - all villainous threats not just to Keystone City, but the world.
