Funcom's first-quarter report for 2009 has come out and it contains good news for fans of Age of Conan. Apparently the game saw "a significant increase in new customers" in the first four months of 2009, and the average player now spends more of their time in-game.

However, some of the "new customers" mentioned here could be those taking advantage of AoC's free trial, which was launched in early April. The game was also launched in both Poland and Russia this year, so anyone purchasing the game there will also be included in these figures.

The report also contains a hint towards a campaign aiming to get former customers to return to Age of Conan. If we hear anything about special offers for previous AoC players, we'll be sure to let you know.
