Master Gnost-Dural, Keeper of the Jedi Archives, has released his second holorecord entry in his task of re-examining the galaxy’s history in light of recent events. In case you missed it, his first entry recounted the events immediately prior to the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant. This second entry tells the story of how the smuggler Hylo Visz was able to break a Mandalorian blockade and become an unlikely hero of the Republic.

The blockade was set up along the Republic's primary trade route, making it impossible to get raw goods to Coruscant. Visz realized it would be a perfect business opportunity if she could find a way to get goods through the blockade. After all, the Republic would be willing to pay anything for these items. She loaded up some freighters with as many raw goods as they could carry and launched a surprise attack on the Mandalorians while her team assisted in small starships. Republic starfighters eventually joined the fight and the blockade was broken.

Visz was hailed as a hero and given riches beyond her wildest dreams. It is rumored she was killed a year later for double-crossing the Hutts. As for who set up the blockade, it was believed at the time it was the work of the Empire. Master Gnost-Dural has actually discovered "a far more elaborate explanation" through his research. We'll have to wait until his next report to find out what he means.
