In what we can only hope is not an April Fool's prank, EQII Players today reports new items coming to the EQII Marketplace on April 7th.  The goodies include a Potion of Amnesia, which will allow a player to rename a character, and a Norrathian Witness Protection Potion, which allows one to change a character's gender and appearance (much like the barber, but with more, um, bits). 

The Marketplace is where people can buy Station Cash with real world dollars, and then buy fluff items and various potions to assist with achievement or regular experience points.

In the discussion thread on the official forums, Jennifer "Kirstie" Gerul, EQII Mechanics Supervisor, swears that it's not a prank.  She later states vehemently that race changes are not going to be implimented.
