Heroes and Legends

A new mystery has turned up:

The kings of each realm have been acting strange as of late. Even their closest advisors are unsure what to make of it. Much has happened in the kingdoms over the past several months. Ongoing attacks from demons and wraiths have kept most of citizens distracted, but now that the dust had settled things appear different somehow. In the early hours of the morning, three strange figures appeared from the mists.

The first wore armor of gold, and at his side was a Lion from the Stygian desert. No one is sure where this man came from, he seemed to appear from thin air outside of Camelot. The Lion took off into the distance, not wishing to enter the city. This was a strange site indeed to the citizens of Albion as he strode through the streets of Camelot and into the Throne Room. The man introduced himself as the Knight of the Lion. King Constantine merely bowed his head, as if he had been expecting the Knight for some time.

Some time later, the gates of Jordheim were met with the sounding of a great battle horn. Many thought that the Horn of Valhalla itself had been sounded, and they may not have been wrong. Through the archways of stone a Norseman with a look well beyond his years approached the guards and asked for the King himself. The man wore the armor of a Thane, but his spirit reflected the blessings of all the Gods. Much to the Royal Guard’s surprise, King Eirik was already awaiting this visitor in his chambers.

The third man came from beneath the city of Tir na Nog itself. The night had been clear and crisp and King Lug approached the fountain of the Druid Grove in the Chamber of Nature. Awaiting him were already several Druids and Enchanters, whispering incantations at the sky. King Lug kneeled at the fountain and spoke something no one else could hear. The ground began to open up, and from beneath the stone a Celt soldier carrying a spear emerged. The King, with his face like stone, welcomed the soldier as an old friend, and led him away to the throne room.
