After having the chance to milk several Mythic employee's for information at E3, DAoC Catacomb's Alex Mars and Samurai Cat have have written their report on the knowledge they gathered about DAoC's upcoming expansions Trials of Atlantis and Foundations. ToA is only one of three coming to DAoC this year and the only one you will have to pay for. Foundations will be a free expansion for both the original and SI client that will add housing to the game. Foundations has been in beta for a while and has been getting tweaked and fine-tuned. Players and guilds will be able to build a variety of homes. Both the interior and immediate surrounding area can be decorated and customized in quite a few ways; I’d expect to see decorating contests coming to DAoC soon. Access to a house will be allowed for all characters on the owners account. This expansion is almost ready and will be available sometime in late June.
