Dark Age of Camelot set the standards for the genre with a near-flawless launch that received rave reviews and avoided such pitfalls as server crashes. The popularity of the game continued with the release of Shrouded Isles, Dark Age of Camelot's first expansion pack. Currently, the game boasts more than 220,000 subscribers. At peak hours, up to 60,000 players are online simultaneously.
