Abandon Interactive Entertainment today announced that the highly anticipated, massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, Freaky Creatures will open its beta to the public when it goes live on July 15. The beta will give gamers the opportunity to battle with customizable creatures against friends in an ever-expanding online world. As access to the beta is limited, players are encouraged to sign up for the beta program now at www.freakycreatures.com.

“We’ve received a tremendous amount of support and buzz for Freaky Creatures, which is very promising, said Jamie Ottilie, President and COO of Abandon Interactive Entertainment. “There are a lot of eager players who want to get their hands on this exciting, new cross-platform MMO game, and we are delighted to give them the first look.”

Freaky Creatures allows players to build the ultimate, customizable creatures and then battle them against friends. Players begin with collectable action figures and a flash drive that brings the creatures to life online. The initial creatures come with 50 different parts, 20 powers and 4 objects that can be placed into the creature’s lair. The variety of parts and powers will allow players to create more than 3 billion visual combinations and players can battle other creatures via PC to PC or PC to mobile game play.

To support the launch of Freaky Creatures, Alienware, the leading manufacturer of high-performance entertainment and PC gaming systems, is giving gamers an opportunity to win an Alienware Area-51 m15x Notebook computer when they sign up for a chance to participate in the beta program.
