Dateline December 23rd, 2002 - Strange activity has been observed in the northern hemisphere in the vicinity of the North Pole. This activity has been documented not only in RL but also in all of the MMORPG worlds. There are rumors that a small flying object has been seen that appears to have something live attached to the front end (small Snow Dragons or perhaps Unicorns?) and a peculiar humanoid in bright red armor at the controls. It has been speculated that someone is performing test fights of a new weapon laced with magic that could affect both RL and gaming as we know it. The activity on the ground, as seen from high above, may be mysterious northern Dwarves or Gnomes, or even an unknown tribe of Snow Elves!!! Whichever it is, they either aren't very intelligent as their bright red and green clothing stands out starkly against the white landscape, or they are so powerful that they have no fear of discovery! Since this could be the news story of the year, I am about to embark on a perilous journey to get the scoop firsthand. So, until my return... Merry Christmas one and all!
