boy this game really looks like crap.
its a sign that the video game industry is way to bloated when things like this see the light of day. to get a sense of its full gayness just goto the site an click on the screenshot "a social gathering at one of the starbase lounges".
but who knows it could be like the original eq; looks terrible, but is really playable because of its online novelty. the only decent screenshot was learning the ropes, but unreal did a way better job on that knid of image years ago.

Latest Earth and Beyond Update & a Demo Disk
Earth and Beyond, the MMORPG from Westwood/EA, has had an update which added new combat skills as well as new mobs and loot, and three new high-level encounters.
Besides this, as of today, the 27th of November, a Demo Disk will be available from Gamestop and Electronics Boutique. It will also be included in the January issue of PC Gamer and available for download from Fileplanet beginning December 9. The demo will allow you to play E&B for five days free. After that, you will need the retail version to play, but will be able to continue on with your character from the demo if you do.
