The web team for the Lord of the Rings Online has published another of their Exploring Middle-earth articles. The focus of this installment is the 'Ost Forod', an old fortress reinhabited by treasure-hunters.

In the northern reaches of the Lake Evendim region, treasure-hunters following rumors of lost treasure established a town and trading post in the ruins of the old fortress of Ost Forod. Recently, a less savory element has entered the ranks of the Men of Ost Forod in the form of brigands and tomb-robbers.
