Jagex Launches PvP MMO Darkscape

This morning, Jagex Games launched their FTP sandbox PvP MMORPG, Darkscape. Set in an alternate game universe, the game content is completely free and includes areas of Gielinor that are typically reserved for Runescape members. Players will find that each area has different levels of risk and could be quite dangerous, with the benefit of valuable resources and high-level content for those who decide to delve deep into the lands.

RuneScape, Jagex's flagship MMO, released the full expanse of the largest city yet in its game, Prifddinas. Through RuneScape's Player Power initiative, the Lost City of the Elves expansion has been developed in collaboration with the RuneScape community. Together they have shaped and directed this sprawling city from the inception of the accompanying quest to the living capital that stands today.

I would say something cliché about spooky things and Halloween, but seriously, I got nothing. So instead let's just sit back and enjoy the first seven of fourteen new trailers coming your way this week!

Jagex revealed a new collectible card game, Chronicle: RuneScape Legends (working title), earlier today. The game will be set in RuneScape's world of Gielinor and is scheduled to launch in 2015 on the PC, Mac, tablet and mobile platforms.

Jagex has released its first-ever expansion pack for RuneScape: Lost City of the Elves! RuneScape members who have completed the Plague's End quest can now enter the gates of Prifddinas, north of Lletya.
