So, I'm sure everyone has heard of the big dragon form thing alchemists get as a "mount" in cata. I was just curious, for anyone on the beta, does it count as a shapeshift or disguise? If so, could this be Blizzards way of making it so not just druids are fast herbalists? It seems silly that flight form gives such a big advantage on how quickly and efficiently you can gather herbs, so it'd be nice if they were finally giving something for alchemists to even the odds a bit.

I would imagine it's going to act just like a mount. It has a cast time, it appears in your mount spell book. I highly doubt it will allow everyone to herb while on/in that mount form. If anything they should just take druids out of flight form when gathering herbs.

But I could probably be wrong.

Either way, flight form is still instant-cast. Plus, now Tauren have a 0.5 gather time for picking herbs.

Oooh I haven't heard about this! It'll be fun for my druid to have flight form and an alchemy mount if there are any advantages to it for herb picking.
