well just made some changes to my folding software. i wounder if that is going to help with performance or not.

http://fahwiki.net/index.php/The_finstall_script

followed that and it allowed me to run 2 instances of FAH at once. one for each core, but i did lose the 20% completed vs i had running since last night.

wee 24 CPUs and 23 users aiding in the help. on Sept. 1 i should turn in at least 2 more WUs to help the team.

yup, the more the better. id love to see a list of 100+ CPUs from this site. no reason it can not be done. heck there are more posters in the OOT that are regs, then are on that list.

I left my PS3 off this morning, our electric bill was crazy last month. With summer winding down though I'll be able to leave it on more.

The other Exodus thing is weird.. probably some guy that saw the main page and normally uses "Exodus" as his name for everything.

Have you completed a WU yet?

duh on the laptop over heating. have you tried elevating it? IIRC you can also turn down the amount of CPU usage you give to F@H to cut back on the heat it produces.

my laptop will overheat from time to time if i do not keep the top oven and the bottom up off of the desk. but it is an older panasonic toughbook and those things just get hot.

WE ARE HELPING ALL OF MANKIND END OF STORY

Besides.. Tetengo is obviously lead tech at NASA or something and is linked up to super computers. So, let's stick with the helping mankind thing until he can be properly disposed of.
