Newb needs advice... Follow

Hi all

I started playing yesterday on the EU server as I'm from UK. Are there any other EU players here?

Zip code prob: Anyone know to get around the zip code problem for buying station dosh? I've tried my post code several times but it won't go through and just keeps asking me for zip code over and over again.

Guild: are there any EU guilds that have stacks of patience with new players and have a family feel? Oh and like oldies lol cos I'm no spring chicken.

Gathering/selling: so far I'm gathering a lot and keeping those skills up. When will I get market access to be able to start selling stuff?

Bags: does it make sense to buy bigger bags or will I get them as quest rewards anyway if I have patience? (that's why I was trying to get station dosh)

Thank you for reading this :)

I can answer a couple of those:

Selling your gatherables: You need to be a Gold member or buy broker tokens, to sell your stuff on the broker. https://www.everquest2.com/free
Bags: I'd buy them from players. You'll get some along the way, but the tailor-made ones are the best.

You are probably past needing this info, but .....

I'm sure there are plenty of EU players but those of us from the New World colonies such as the US would love to have you on board with us.

Guilds: Depends on the server I suspect. On the Permafrost server I am in a guild, Order of the Black Rose, that is very low on pressure, small, family-friendly, and moderate level. We would welcome you with open arms and be glad to provide aid and assistance. You will certainly find some older players such as myself. Send a note to Lyodan if you decide to try Permafrost out.
