Writhing with ExcitementFollow

Hello all,
I couldn't contain my enthusiasm any longer. I was an EQ2 player on release day back in 2004. I absolutely loved the game when I played it back then, yet much to my dismay all of my friends hopped on the WoW bandwagon. Being that part of the reason I play games is to socialize with friends I tied a rope around my ankle and was dragged behind that wagon for several years (OK so maybe it wasn't so dramatically against my will).

Recently my fiance and I have been MMOing together, and when I came across an article that EQ2 had gone F2P I nearly soiled myself. I am so happy I could slap someone. Unfortunatley I have had to work all day, but as soon as I get home (about 2.5 hrs) I will be logging on my character on Freeport server (Named: Witherin) and playing until my little eyes bleed. Not sure if I'll be able to pry my hands away from my keyboard long enough to set up our other computer so my fiance can join me... however all of the bargaining chips seem to be in her corner so we'll see what happens. In any event I just wanted to say hello to everyone and express my utmost joy to be back playing the "one that got away". Too-da-loo!
