I have an older copy of EQ2: Rise of Kunark that I recently came across on a shelf of unplayed games. I've also had MMO fever lately after about 8 months away from the genre. In any case, I signed up for a Free trial of EQ2 before registering the game and subscribing to give it a try before committing to anything. I also noticed that the community here on these boards are surprisingly helpful unlike some other communities that I've seen so I had a couple of quick questions.
I've played several other MMO's in the past, WoW, FFXI, SWG, and Age of Conan. I'm just wondering how the learning curve is in EQ2. Also, has the majority of the player base reached the level cap leaving the lower and mid range content sort of barren?
Also, I really enjoy the social aspect of these games, but also like having the option to Solo. I've read in several places that Soloing is an option in EQ2, is it a fun option?
Last, but not least, I noticed that there are a TON of different class options in this game. How is the Conjuror and Necromancer classes? These are the most appealing to me so far, does the good or evil decision make a huge impact? I don't know if there are more characters on one side more than the other or if its just race preference.
Anyways, Thanks for reading and to anyone that puts any effort into replying. I'm really looking forward to indulging in the game and can't wait to get started.
