I was never into tradeskills, but lately, I have had some health problems that have left me searching for things to do that require little physical effort. I have been searching for guides, but most seem many years out of date. EQ Traders don't seem to have any up to date guides and the posts in the forums seem to only go for the most complicated recipe route. Much searching has found some easy Baking recipes, but as I am now approaching 300, I want to get gathering info on Smithing guides. Any leads would be very welcome!

I just got ores in the bazaar and did the following I am at 298 now but past 282

Template Patterns Indium Ore 244 legs
Studs recipe 255 = 13. Tantalum Ore
Studs recipe 268 = 14. Vanadium Ore

Template Patterns Rhenium Ore 272-282
Studs recipe Trivial 282 = 15. Osmium Ore(282)/Paladium(282)

Template Patterns Tungsten Ore 310 - I did not see any of this ore in the bazaar ???

I used vanadium ore and made writs Trival 400+ I did have one issue tho my trophy did not advance I am not sure why???

All the guides in the EQTraders Tradeskill guide forum are still viable even if they haven't been updated in a while. No real new skill up paths have been introduced, just more higher recipes.

got me to 300

but it was only leveling my Trophy after I got to 300.

Draught of the Craftsman. Thank God for this potion. It's the only way I could ever tolerate the work to max out tradeskills.

Unfortunately, EQ raised the price to 2500, which is nuts. When I was buying them they were, IIRC, only 1000 before membership discount.

But like with most things it comes down to what you value your time at, especially your leisure time, which can be a scarce commodity for us who work for a livin...
