I didn't quite get the same stats as everyone else... I seemed to get

4 MND
5 hMP (ok the same, had to be a bit of recalculation on that one, got it wrong thorught I had 7 at one point XD)
+45 MP (others say 60, I am pretty sure I didn't get that high)
didn't do any enmity tests >.>
Got the sucky -1 STR as well...

Also I noticed that I had a slightly better enfeeble rate with this then Mushroom stew yet I got new equip so I had more MND using the mushroom stew so makes me wonder if there is anything else hidden in this item.

I don't see the Guild Point listing for the HQ anywhere, so I decided to sacrifice one of these to find out. You get *1680gp* per Witch Stew.
Questionable Stats - Has it been Nerfed Recently??
# Oct 02 2005 at 12:34 AM Rating: Decent
I am level 98 Cooking, I have the Apron and Hat giving me 98 + 2, I am able to Craft 3 out of 12 HQ per stack of materials, so it can be done, under the right Circumstances, though my research is far from complete, I will update this message as and when I come to some sort of Reasonable Conclusion.

On to Stats..........

I used one of these for my WHM the other night and My results were slightly different, I recorded:

+ 60 MP
+ 5 MND
- 1 STR
+ 5 HMP
Duration: 4 Hours

I am unsure as to whether these have been altered in any Recent Updates, and before I get any cocky replies, YES, I am 100% SURE I used a Witch Stew and NOT the NQ Mushroom Stew.

I can not Comment on the Enmity effect though my advice is that I was spamming Moderately High Cure spells and never pulled hate from Either the NIN or PLD tanks we had for the Duration of the Party.

I will keep you posted on the Progress of my Research, so I can keep everyone informed as to the Stats and How to craft these at HQ level Regularly. This is Information I will share Openly for the Benefit of High level Culinarians, especially those crafting for personal Consumption, as this Item carries a Very Low profit margin (Based on AH prices, Phoenix Server).

Thanks for Listening and I wish you all Many Happy Adventures in Vana'Diel

Extremely difficult to make even at 100+7.

I wish you goodluck, I only have 90+2 and not gonna bother raising any higher.

Time to delvl for gsmithing or cloth, the truly valuable crafts~

Cooking is very valuable, it's just hard to find a niche and stay with it before it becomes overcrowded and drops like a rock.
You forgot...

about 30k on fenrir 10-12k for mushroon stew in jeuno AH.
Update windurst AH on gp day these go for 15k and rising. there is a lack of influence in movapolis for weeks so the items are hard to acquire. I am glad I stock up on those rare items for times like these.
Oh and fonk for those of us that cook higher prices are a good thing, so it is you that is the lucky one, unless the overinflated price drops the demand, which all I could say is adjust accordingly. I never even planned to sell these myself but the profit is nice, gonna cook up a few more stacks worth today and keeping the witches for my next exp out ventures.

Gees, you guys are lucky. Witch stew usually 40k on Alexander. Mushroom Stews go for 17-18k.

it doesn't show the +1 syth giving -enmity. That can't be right,... can it?
If i had to guess what it gave, I would say -5 enmity. But thats if it gave any at all.
-enmity
# Apr 22 2005 at 1:35 PM Rating: Decent
I remember it being discussed at some point earlier, and while I have no way to actually verify this other than my XP parties I do believe that all mushroom dishes have an effect on enmity now.

Nothing concrete to back it up but as a lvl 59 whm with Peace Ring and all my AF (except gloves obviously) I could cast Cure IV, Regen II, Flash, Slow, Paralyze, Haste, Dia II, Holy, Cure IV again, Regen II again, and another Cure IV without getting hate. Next pt I plan on trying to spam Cure IV.

Oh, P.S. The stats are wrong. It is a 4 hour food.
+60MP
+7MND
-5 enmity
+5 HMP

This is my food of choice. Well worth the price. (30k on Fenrir)

While these can be profitable if you can get one to sell, the others just aren't profitable because people just don't buy them and buy things like sushi and mithkabobs more.

Usually, when I make these I make them for myself and stick a few in my bazaar.

Woot, I can cook these now. Great RDM food too! If you are on Cerberus, start looking for it to be available in the Jeuno AH. Puffballs seem to be the limiting factor, I have only been able to get 1 stack thus far.

Edit - meant to post this for Mushroom stew, I doubt I'll be getting many HQs anytime soon ^^.

lol, yeah, too bad it's the HQ of a level 86 cooking synth >_< so, it'll probably cost a ton and be really hard to find, but if you're a gillionaire with far too much spare time to camp the AH's, these would be great for leveling WHM ~.^
correct combo
