This guy is tough now because of the new HA scaling that they did with TBM he is casting AE like every 10 seconds and tank merc did good till around 50% then all hell broke lose. Ranger 1 WS and bulwark got it till around 25% Ranger 2 got to 16% and boom dead. That was attempt 2, attempt 1 we got it to 30% despite not knowing about his AE which was what got us on attempt 1. STand by not sure if we are going for attempt 3 or not.

WAR/BRD/SHM w/ CLR/WIZ/ROG mercs. Took about 10 attempts to get this guy to spawn, confirmed it is after the second task is complete. He spawns in the field around the Tower of Ro, near the quest giver location for this task. Was wandering a bit in the field nearby. Wish I took a pic, just looks like a larger version of the vortex mobs around the tower.

Parsed 12 million hp. Has three abilities:
Smoldering Haze (3x) - Blind cast on engage, only lasted a couple ticks. Single target. Din't notice the other two casts.
Burning Gust (12x) - AE 50k dmg (max actual 36k) knock up/knock back.
Choking Smoke (5x) - Single Target DoT, 5k tick. (max actual 3k).

Max melee was 12k. But likely closer to 20k on a non-tank (non-disced) class like most of AH named.

This is on a CotF T2/T1 raid geared, max AA warrior. Used Last Stand and Mark of the Mage hunter. Very simple fight with Bard/Shm box's, Max AA bit under geared mix raid. Mercs seemed to take the worst of the AE, but even they survived the fight. The AE knock you a bit up into the air and back. Had levitation on, so would just adjust toons accordingly when needed to keep them all close.

Dropped Armguards of Manifested Ether and Whirling Inferno Earring.
