You say, 'Hail, Chaunna Graice'
Chaunna Graice says, 'Greetings! The council has been nice enough to allow me to stay here in New Tanaan to collect [donations].'
You say, 'donations'
Chaunna Graice says, 'As you may have heard, the gods have forsaken us. Not long ago, many of the towns and cities devised an alternative source to power their priests, should the loss of divinity quiet their power. They began accepting money and item donations to create a pool of favor, [power] that the priests could tap into should the need arise.'
You say, 'power'
Chaunna Graice says, 'As the need for the favor does not exist, there was quite the surplus, made even greater by the power the local residents generated through their devotion and prayer. Those that donated were given the opportunity to tap into this power through [benefits].'
You say, 'benefits'
Chaunna Graice says, 'The benefits are generated by the faith of the people, they act very much like the powers that the priests themselves have in many cases. With the success of these donations, I have been appointed to allow guilds access to many of these benefits. If you donate to me, your leaders can select benefits for your entire guild, and the favor created from your benevolence will be shared amongst all the towns.'
