Perhaps a sidenote for the ones reading the last post and thinking in some more twisted ways:

The Pinepeak buff would be a great boost if it would hold 1h outside of Frontier Mountains.
Sadly it disappears after zoning - so for all who thought about that - a level 1 with 80k proc to test if you can whoop in a few minutes to Level 80 to break your personal best time - nope, does not work - I have to disappoint you ;)

Because nowhere you get really a bit deeper information, now here is a bit help and some correction of urban legends:

1. Collect Enchanted Runestones from "an Enchanted Syldon stalker" in the west/northwest of FM
- numbers seem to vary - we never needed 40 and we tried in 3times without interference from others!
- making it 3 times in a row resulted in: 30x, 18x, ca. 25x (it seems max is 30x)
- collecting 30 should be enough and was in every case so far
- there are only 30 Grove Guardians present to give
- every Enchanted Syldon Stalker dropped 1 single piece so far

2. Give Runestones to Grove Guardians north at Overthere entrance
- only Grove Guardians take them, if you have Enchanted Grove Guardians only, then you have to kill and respawn them
- Grove Guardians have an extreme fast respawn rate, so don't worry
- any single runestone can start the Courier-event, there seems no real fixed number
- 3 times in a row there where different numbers of runestones necessary
- somehow it worked when a part of the old Enchanted got killed and some stones given to the Grove Guardians
- not sure for this but every time we completely removed the Grove Guardians, the courier-event started (bug, random or feature?)
- perhaps its a bug or a feature: try killing only a small amount and give them the runestones and check if Couriers are starting to run
- there are only 30 Grove Guardians in the area - all at the same area at Overthere Entrance - if Couriers don't start - kill/respawn them
- only once we had to give all 30 guardians a stone (first time) - the 2nd/3rd time in a row there was only a lower number necessary

3. Kill every Syldon Courier who runs from northwest Syldon Castle to the entrance of the Overthere at northern valley
- group at the castle or in the valley to Overthere
- for us it was most easy after the first fail to only catch them in the valley to the overthere. There is a fixed path they wander. Snare/kill rinse repeat
- they pop in a very fast rate, so have about 20 times firepower ready
- we failed the first time because we relied on aggro - don't do it - they don't care about you - they run!
- snare and jump them (optional root/mezz/stun)

4. After assumingly about 20 the Ancient Pinepeak Buff is cast zone-wide (no additional timer, Info at EQResource is not accurate)
- it has a duration of 1h
- if you want to do the Foretold Hour, prepare appropriate to your firepower and the number of groups working parallel
- if you box or singlegroup them, there are strats to be able to box the whole event, but you need a solid strat and no interference from others

Some ideas and hits:
- it is difficult sometimes to aggro the couriers, they tend to run even if you try to aggro -> snare them and jump/stun them so that they don't run
- don't let any single one reach Overthere, 3 reached overthere but the event does not stop - so you have no big information about the fail (maybe there was a text note but we missed it) - there was only a text at the end that they reached the camp -> this is the fail
- there is no real visible "big - red - letter" emote. Whereever this emote has been shown, nobody here of our group really got the message. Place somebody to check the area to not miss the start or a sneaker
- if you do the "Foretold Hour" then this is the start and a good timer but prepare all other Ancients to a point where you only need to kill the last for the Ancient to pop
- Foretold Hour: not the presence of the Ancients gives success - the Awakening in the time frame of 1h after the first Ancient awoke will give you the Achievement

Noteworthy:
- The Buff is level independent, that means that even on a Level 1 (tested on Level 2, Level 52, Level 73) that buffs sticks (useless in FM, but funny, if a raid with some lowlevel kicks a L100+ mob in the groin - imagine it roleplay-wise ;)) - I know it has only roleplay and fun effect because that lowlevel is gone after one caugh of a mob - but patt your noob on the shoulder - he has the guts to kill everything in his levels after that ;)
- Pinepeak Buff: Movement +75%, 2500 HP-Regen, 80k Proc is a nice addon to speed up killing (but honestly, we had all guys in raid so it did not feel to make a big difference strangly - we need to check the logfiles)
- you get the 10AA even on Level 2 (An Ancient Awakens) - useless in that level but you can safe it for 51+, a nice boost - not ubah but raises the fun to powerlevel a twink

I'm not sure what you mean ? This weapon is the result of a quest involving the Ancient Broodmother, not Pinepeak.
