Besides Final Fantasy XI, what other MMORPGs have you played and how do they compare to Final Fantasy XI?

I played the sims online before ffxi. I don't think it's really fair to compare the sims with ffxi..

How did you find out about Final Fantasy XI, and when did you begin playing?

I started playing after Christmas '03. Found out about it from a commercial.

Do you know anyone in real life who plays Final Fantasy XI?

I used to know two people who played, but they stopped playing years ago.

How did you come up with your main character's name?

First 3 letters of my irl name = rog.

What is your favorite job and why?

Rdm. I really enjoy the thrill of being able to take down nms one on one, after seeing a group of 10+ wipe to that same nm. Being able to do 10 times more than any other job could even dream of.

Which forum(s) do you frequent the most?

Rdm, and blm forums.

About how often do you play Final Fantasy XI and how long is a typical playing session for you?

Every day. I pretty much spend 90% of my free time either on ffxi, or ffxi related forums.

How do you spend your time in game?

Hnms, rdm soloing, and various other end game events usually.

Do you craft? If so, what are your skill levels?

I have 102 bonecraft currently, and used to have 70 leathercraft that i actually leveled myself.

Approximately how much of Vana'diel have you experienced?

90%+

What is your favorite expansion?

Toau. Mostly because of the exp camps, etc it offered.

What is your least favorite expansion?

Wotg. Doesn't offer much outside of sch and dnc.

How far have you progressed in missions?

I've done all the zilart, and cop missions, and about half the toau missions. Never done any wotg missions. I've done all the sandy missions, and the first 3 ranks of windurst missions.

What is your favorite zone?

Dragon's aery.

Who is your NPC hero and why?

Malfud. He buys my stuff.

Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game.

Soloing suzaku. Shortly after avesta soloed it, there was a discussion about it on bg, and while people were discussing it, thinking it was pretty amazing, i ran up soloed bb, popped suzy, and killed it on my first try, with a gimp fire resist/mdb set that i threw together in 5 minutes. As far as i know, i was the second person to solo it, right after avesta.

What is the largest amount of gil you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it?

Excluding around 150m i had during the inflation, i had around 45m 4-5 months ago. It took me less than 2 months to make that by reselling dyna currency, as well as soloing Sheep in antlion's clothing. I would have had much more, but i spent tons of crap i probably didn't need, including a kraken club.

What is next for you in the world of Final Fantasy XI?

Releveling/meriting rdm and blm, as well as gearing them up again. Lots of boring stuff to get back to where i was before i got banned.
