so everytime you kill one of the yags or orc you have a cance to get a item drop. if you kill all the mobs do you get bonuses.(sorry question mark key is broken)=( please help me out i want to know how this garrisons work

I assumed the prices were that high because people were showing off their new rare thing. are people actually paying 50k or more for these?
I payed 20k for some Mannequin Feet, and that was a -steal-. Most people are selling them for for 60-100k. It's one of five pieces (Mannequin: Feet/Legs/Body?/Head/Arms) needed to finish a new quest added by the 8-hour patch, you get a complete Mannequin as furniture to put in your house as a reward for finishing the quest. I don't know too much about the completed Mannequin, but it's in the shape of one of the races (presumably your own race, or you hopefully get to choose), and I've heard you can 'dress it up' in armor, and that race, gender, and job classes for the armor doesn't matter. I'm imagining mix-and-matching RSE's, AF's, stuff like that.
Peopls are selling the things on my server (Seraph) for 100k a pop... or at least they are trying to. Its too easy to do garrison to actually consider spending 100k on these parts
Last night I completed 2 garrison battles back to back in W.Ron. It's level capped at 20.
We went in with a full alliance of 18 people and boy, was this easy. party was made up of; 3-4 whms 3-4 blms (all with whm subs) rest was various melee
Quest is started by someone giving the Red Cryptex to the outpost guard. We speculate that the person starting the quest must be native to the region... (ie: a San D'Orian must start W.Ron Garrison)
about 10 NPCs showed up and stood around doing nothing. Not long after that, about 6-8 orcs spawned and rushed us. In the comotion I forgot to check them, but they went down fairly easily. I assume they were Even - Tough. Interestingly enough the NPCs you have to protect rush into combat! It was kinda funny seeing stuck up Elvaan NPCs actually doing something PRODUCTIVE for a change.
after the first 6-8 orcs were dead, you have about 10 seconds before another 6-8 orcs spawn and start rushing again. these waves of orcs were made up of mostly orcish fighters/cursemakers.
again, after wave 2 is gone, a 3rd wave shows up of (again) 6-8 orcs. However, this time there was a Orcish Fighterchief with them... and this guy hit hard. It popped 100 fists right off the bat and proceded to spank one of our warriors. Once the 100 fists wore off, he went down rather painlessly.
Total Rewards (From 2 Garrison Events with 18 people): 3-4 Garrison Tunics 2 Mannequin feet 2 Mannequin legs 4-5 Dragon Chronicles about 3000 gil per person
I hope this helps anyone who's curious about this quest... it was mad easy and great rewards!
If you are from Windrust you can use a Red Cryptex, I forgot where I found it...One of the enemies that drop the keys for Kazham air pass. Just take the Red Cryptex and a party to the outpost and talk to one of the guys there, or trade it to them?, and you have to defend the outpost from a couple of attacks. I heard that if you have more people it's harder but the awards are better, such as the Mannequin Legs.
Ok, ok, i just THINK i might know what you mean by "Garrison" and i use the word "Outpost" ('cause that's the way they say it on m'map) and i can only guess that you mean "Expenditory Forces" when ypu say "Garrison Battles" if i'm wrong, plase fill me in...
The mannequin legs, as well as the feet, can be gotten in Garrison battles. They're gotten randomly as soon as an enemy is killed. I got a pair of feet (could have gotten a second, if they weren't rare), and a friend of mine got the pair of legs.
