wouldn't this be good to macro into a silence spell, which is wind based, for a rdm
It only increases resistance to Wind based magic cast upon the wearer. It doesn't grant any bonuses to Wind based spells the wearer casts.

I'm a RDM and Aero III is suppose to be my best spell vs. Maat. So with +10 Wind, this would actually do more harm for me than good right?
When you go to fight Maat @ lvl 70 to remove the cap, he recieves the stats of whatever equipment you are wearing WHEN YOU ENTER! When you come to do the fight, equip stumbling sandals, this and another - ring and any other -equipment that you can find... once in the fight, equip all your + gear and kick his ***!!

I have fought maat 3 times and that theory isn't right. He has your BASE stats, equip makes no difference
also, i'd definitely get an antacid, eat an adamantoise soup going in, then use the antacid to remove it

Wind +10...yes, that would do quite nicely against Garuda Prime, don't you think?
being a mithra thf, i have trouble capping evasion
what i do is: when pulling, i put this on, one of the ones that gives -3 dex (foget the name) and put on stumbling sandals
let the mob hit me 2 or 3 times depending on how strong it is, and +.5 evaasion, +.5 evasion, +.5 evasion
also useful for skill up parties if you're trying to build guarding shield or evasion skill

I'm lvl 53 at the moment, but my evasion is around 128... Just wondering... If there are some EP or so monsters I should grab a friend to tackle and fight for evasion skillups? (Probably Altepa Desert or Garliage Citadel bats and beetles?)

This is probebly like all the other items that have great - effects.
For example take the Stumbling Sandals which give you Def: 4 DEX: -10 AGI: -10
Anyone would think these are the worst boots ever (as i did once) but in reality they would cause your other skills to go up faster. Stumbling Sandals causes your Gaurding skill to go up ( especially for monks)
I bet the Malgust Ring would also boost some other skills. If it doesn't maybe it is some hidden skills such as Accuracy and Evasion

ive seen rings like this b4, heard that they lower ur stats as well as certain mob stats that ur fighting, but not completely sure.

Theres got to be more to this ring looks like it hurts you more then helping.
in the pipcture it says -3 AGI.. but in your description it says -3 INT
