Estate of Unrest walk thru

Zone WalkThroughs===

Estate of Unrest

A). This is spoiler...I do not apologize to anyone who wants to grind thru this and figure all the stuff out themselves!!! I suffered so you don't have to.

B). This took my group about 6 hours to finish - if you did it faster the first time, well, your uber /bow...and I don’t care.

Couple things:

1). This zone is VERY much like Unrest in EQ1. Same basic layout and mob content is also very similiar.

2). Mobs do NOT respawn - well some do later

3). As soon as you zone in you get hit by a Livng Nightmare debuff. It is a 20% slow that cannot be removed.

4). There are 4 collections in here that I know about - I'll edit as I get more details.

5). In MANY cases, shiny's are traps that spawn multiple mobs.

6). Sometimes mobs drop chests that are not chests but mobs!!!!

7). This is NOT Nizara 2.0...the mobs are tough but not Nizara tough (FLAMECLAW!!!!). The puzzles make it fun and interesting.

8). Many things you do will be important to progress later.

9). Well done SOE…loved it!!!

Ok, here we go:

At Zone in do not move too far in. There are level 72 - 3 ups that fly from one side of the entrance to the other.

Out in the Courtyard of the Manor several things will need to be accomplished to help your progression later:

1). The front door to the manor is locked. To find the 2 key halves you need to explore the labyrinth's to each side of the fountain. I'm not positive, but the second time I thought the keys were in different spots inside the labyrinth.

- First half - East side

- Second half - West side maze

2). There are two King's pawns you will need to find in the courtyard. More on this later

- One is in the fountain - it's hard to see. Loc: 7.4, 0.73, 1.06

- The second is in the water near the Gazebo - there are mobs in the water - beware!!!

3). Enter the Gazebo to get disco exp and to hail the ghost of Jessa Quellborn

4). Go to the back of the courtyard and kill the "hell pigs" or whatever they are called. They drop meat. Have a person who is NOT the main tank or healer loot the pieces.

5). Go to the Graveyard. Disco exp!!! Mobs will raise from the graves. They move sloooooooow. At the end of the graveyard a named will spawn. Chef Demme is level 72, three up. He drops "Chef Demme's Soothing Supprt. This is a recipe (that cannot be memorized so all the provisioner's can relax) that must be looted by the same person who has the pig meat.

6). Go to the Ghost of Kyll Rucksif. Do NOT hail him until he says something like "Please, I need to talk to you." He does 50k divine damage so do not aggro him. He will depop after you kill all the skeletons around him and hail him after he's ready to talk. Watch the script!!! He gives you a hammer you will need to open a door later.

To the manor!!!

Theres a couple of mobs near the entrance that need to be killed.

1). Enter the manor and kill the mobsnear the entrance. Go down the right hallway and enter the first door. Kill the mobs all the way up to the prisoners. You are done here for now but will return later.

2). Go back to the entrance area and take the left hallway. The first door on your left is the same thing as the right side. Clear it. You will be back.

3). Continue down the left corridor and the second door leads to a room filled with books. Kill the mobs, don't worry, you'll be back with a key later to open the book shelf.

4). Go to the bar. Pull the groups one by one. The "an aloof cat" turns into a gigantic hell cat...cat lovers...I'm sorry. Kill all the mobs in the room and move away from the bar.

- There i another pawn in a cup on the bar. Also, grab the wine on the bar.

- After all the mobs in the bar are dead the Bartender spawns...and he's pissed cuz you killed all his customers. The Sadistic Bartender 72, three up.

He AE's a Molotov Cocktail and Halasian Ice brew elemental effects.

- Bartender drops a very watered down cocktail. Take that to the fireplace and put out the fire. Grab the key that is there.

- The way to the game room is not yet open...from this direction.

- Do not go up the steps yet.

5). Go to the kitchen. If you followed the right hallway down and around the first door on your right is the kitchen.

- Kill the mobs there. Clear to the second room where there are cabinets.

The person who has the recipe for the Chef need sto click on the cabinet to the right so he/she gets the vegetables. Once this is done additional mobs spawn.

- There is a King's pawn on the shelves in a cup near the clickable stove

- Cook the meal on the stove once the person has all the ingredients. More adds pop. Protect the person cooking (this is why MT and healer should not do this combine)

- Take the meal and go to the dumbwaiter in the other room. Send the meal up. This releases a spirit on thesecond floor so you can get into the room for an oil can (more on that later).

6). The key from the bar opens the door in the bar to the left. Go outside and kill the dogs there. Circle around to the right and head to the back of the manor to the game room.

6.5). Game room - The backdoor key opens this as well. Several groups of mobs are inside.

Pull them outside the room. Do not pick up the shiny once inside the room.

Adds spawn. Once the room is clear place the 4 pawns on the game table.

The pawns can be found:

- Fountain

- Water by Gazebo

- Cup on bar

- Cup in kitchen

Once the pawns are placed Screwloose the Mad spawns. 72, three up and his haywire clockwork. He places a bomb in a random person’s bag so keep your bags open to get rid of it.

Once he is dead he drops two screws that need to be give to two different people. The MT being one (recommended) and a scout who can handle tanking duties the other.

7). Go back to the bar and go up the stairs. Clear the room carefully and grab the piano note. Try your skills on the piano...I guarantee you suck.

Come back down as there's no way to open the door...yet.

8). Head to the 2 rooms with the prisoners. Split your group up for the two rooms.

Place each screw on the levers. At the same time depress the levers. This opens up the foyer. Ta-da!!!

9). Head to the Foyer door near the kitchen (found this easiest to pull from). Open the door and a suit of armor and a few other adds need to be killed.

The suit of armor drops a note about a can of oil.

Tork'Lar Battlemaster 72, three up is there. Kill him, loot him, go up one side of the stairs.

10). Open the door and a little Billy doll will try and eat you. Open the north door and this takes you to the corridor closest to the servants room.

The first door opens, kill the servant. On the floor is a can of oil needed for later.

11). Head up the corridor passed the Nursery (can't get in yet). The far door can be opened using that fancy hammer from earlier. Blast open the door but do not enter yet. Pull the mobs outside.

Kill the mobs and stay in the corner nearest the door on the inside now.

Pull the mobs that spawn around the bed (Jessa's spirit stands on it). Once the robed mobs are dead the three around Jessa pop. Kill them. Talk to Jessa.

12). Head out of the room to the stairs on the second floor. Head up to the Library area. Kill the books there (should be 4 groups of three).

13). Enter the master bedroom and talk to Nicadius. Head outside the door in his room and clear the roof. There is a lever in one of the towers. Oil it with the oil can.

14). Head outside the manor and hail the ghost in the gazebo. She gives you a locket. Head back to Jessa.

15). Hail Jessa and she opens up the Nursery for you. Go in and click the bookshelf to grab the note. Kill the mobs that spawn including - BILLY!!!! (73, ^^^ up)

16). Take the note and head to Nicadius to get the second portion of the song. Head to the Piano room with the cmplete hymn and play it. Mobs pop.

17). Secret door opens in the Piano room to the Defiled Chapel!! Disco exp!

The Priest of Fear - 73, three up. He fears. Drops loot and the Polished Symbol of the Faceless for the book case downstairs on the first floor.

OPTIONAL:

There is one more room on this floor - The Dining Room. It has disco exp and invisible Poltergeist mobs. This is where the dumbwaiter sends the food that you cooked earlier. You do not need to enter this room except to get disco and kill the mobs if you want.

18). Head to the bookcase room on the first floor and open the bookcase. Mobs are now 74, three up most of the time.

Clear the mobs in the first room (skeletons spawn near the skulls). As you go down the hallway a green mist comes up. I don't want to give the next part away...

19). Head down to the Torture Chamber of the Damned. Clear all the mobs in the cells around the center of the chamber. This is to avoid complications later in the fight with the Hag (she jails people as they get lower health). The Hag spawns after clearing the mobs around her.

20). Head down the other hallway from the torture chamber down to the blood pool room clearing as you go.

Once to the blood room Hemogoblin spaws: 74, three up. Once dead, to avoid the pittraps, walk on the darker stones around the pit.

21). Head to the Heart of Unrest. Work your way thru until you have killed all the mobs (shades appear after each group that aggro) and collected the 7 pieces needed.

- Left and Right feet

- Legs

- Chest

- Head

- Left and right hands

Go back to the suit of armor laying in the ground and place the pieces to pop the mob. Note: Once you place the bones into the suit of armor the mobs that drop the bones will stop spawning.

(Granel Rucksif 74, ^^^)

He has kick back so be aware. The mobs in this room DO repop so try and tank him on one of the landings with your back to the wall.

He rewards you with 9000 status, two pieces of loot and a piece of mail.

I'm not going to spoil the mail for you...8)
