WOW Zone:Wetlands  

The Wetlands are primarily composed of swamps and fens, the area being covered with bodies of stagnant water, both large and small and bordered by mountains three sides but open to the ocean to the west. Even the road is not safe for travelers from the encroachment of nearby aggressive Crocolisks and spiders. Raptors, gnolls, murlocs, oozes, and Dragonmaw Orcs make this place more dangerous than the Alliance main port city should have to reckon with.

Wetlands is a large, wet zone below Stonewrought Dam, north of Loch Modan, Adventurers seeking route to Wetlands must either come through besieged Dun Algaz from Loch Modan, or cross the damaged Thandol Span from the Arathi Highlands.

Menethil Harbor is itself in a precarious position, easily cut-off from Loch Modan and the rest of the Alliance. As such, there is much to do to defend the land. The red dragonflight also call this area home, but keep to themselves in the far southeast.
