WOW Zone:Sunwell Plateau
Sunwell Plateau is an indoor/outdoor raid area found on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This isle, found to the north of Silvermoon City was ostensibly the hardest raid instance in the game prior to the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. In terms of difficulty, this instance has been tuned by Blizzard to accommodate players in gear equivalent to Tier 6. Additionally, the gear itself from the first three bosses contains additional Tier 6 equipment such as boots and bracers, as well as random epics.
Similar in design to Silvermoon City with its brilliant towers and spires, this area contains both outdoor settings as well as interiors of buildings.

Encounters
To make sure that players do not have too easy of a time here, nearly every mob has the Sunwell Radiance buff. This buff gives them an increase to melee hit by 5% and a reduction in opponent dodge chances by 20%. Once Kil'jaeden has been defeated, there is also a scripted event for the raidgroup.
