The citadel Dalaran is a city-state once found in the Alterac Mountains.

History
Ruled over by the Kirin Tor, it has recently been relocated to its new home in the icy lands of Northrend. This beautiful metropolis was one of the original seven kingdoms of the long ago days of the Nation of Arathor.
Horde and Alliance
There are two distinct areas catering to both Horde and Alliance in Dalaran.
For the Alliance
Geography
Dalaran is located to the north of The Dragonblight and is only accessible by players over level 74, via a summon or a mage portal to the city initially. Once a player has been transported to the city, they may set their hearthstone there and use this much the way Shattrath is used in TBC as a main travel hub between the southern zones and the northern territories.
