Azshara is a shattered stretch of coastline located in northeastern Kalimdor. It was once the greatest city of the Night Elves but fell during the War of the Ancients. Now, sadly, only shattered remnants remain, perched precariously on the cliffs overlooking similar ruins among the coral. In contrast to the devastation, this zone is a beautiful coastal area with the trees tinged in brilliant hues of orange and red and great stretches of sandy beach along the line of the ocean.

However, the denizens in the area tend to make life quite hard for adventurers, as satyr, naga and all manner of aggressive wildlife attack adventurers on sight.
