• East upon entering the cave (no choice there) - keep to the north wall.
• A triangular gap will come up on the mini-map - go to the northern-most point.
• Go around the large bend to the north, arching east.
• Grik'nir the Cold is in the northeast corner of that 'room'.

The cave is to the southeast of the questgiver, at the back of one of the camps with Felix's belongings. All of the trolls are pretty well spaced, so it's extremely easy to do this alone without multiples attacking you. Grik'nir is Level 5 (distinguished by fluffy blue hair, bigger tusks, and a non-purple nose) with a Level 3 close beside him. I took on both at once with 337 Armour (55 from my Devotion Aura) and didn't even lose half of my health.
