EQ2 Quest:Trail to the Past  

This is the start of the Heritage Quest series for the Shiny Metallic Robe.

1. Search the Moors of Ykesha for ''odd mechanical pieces for Gabblin Bittlegrip.
• 
  An odd mechanical piece
  The parts can be drops or odd gears and gnomish tinkered-looking stuff around the landscape. They tend to be found along the base of constructed walls and are hard to spot in low-rez or when too far in 3rd person. You need 8 pieces. The harvestable gears will refresh, given enough time.
• Reported harvest locations include:
• 1386, 406, 755 Copy - right by the opening next to the animal pen in U.J.L. 1.0
• 1409, 406, 665 Copy - by the wall, just north of the Lower Dropzone Gnomecannon
• 1176, 393, 818 Copy
• 1139, 394, 891 Copy - in the Thalz'Iz'Zaz Lizardman camp
• 1462, 409, 642 Copy - on the edge of U.J.L. 1.0 northwest of the gnomecannon.
• 1476, 437, 559 Copy - due north of U.J.L. 1.0 near the sokokar handlers
• 1208.99, 0, 669.15 Copy - next to one of the walls
• 1289.77, 0, 676.70 Copy - beside rock north of pond
2. 
   an advanced technical manual in Qeynos Capitol District
   Visit the Library in either Qeynos Capitol District (South Qeynos) or The City of Freeport (North Freeport) and find the manual at 707, 42, 103 Copy (Qeynos) or on the floor at 30, -7, -134 Copy (Freeport), next to Euphemius Granius. Collect the advanced technical manual, then examine it in your inventory.
3. Find an Enchanter that may know more about the Shiny Metallic Robes mentioned in the note I found.
• Speak with Melinnae Welxen ( 712,35,140 ) Copy in The Concordium Tower, or R'dlles Mar'dril ( 0,-7,-136 ) Copy in The Academy of Arcane Science.
4. Enter The Ruins of Guk: The Lower Corridors to search for clues.
• Find a scroll in a cell, near Hoptor Thagglor at -244,-54,-130 Copy . Although you will need to clear the rest of the room, you can get the update through the bars without actually fighting Hoptor.
• "I did not find the Robes, but I did find a leather scroll signed by someone known as Rokyl."
5. Find someone who deals in Rarities for more info.
• Talk to Ukaskis the Trader in Maj'Dul ( -225,160,-92 ) Copy .
6. 
   a jagged diamond dagger
   Ukaskis the Trader has asked that I locate a jagged diamond dagger to complete a work order issued some time ago.
• Go to Runnyeye: The Gathering. The dagger is on the floor, near the mender, at -25,0,-28 Copy .
7. Return to Ukaskis the Trader in Maj'Dul.
