From the GU 55 patch notes: Quest no longer requires the player to be on the quest, Ill Communication

Garl Copperstroke has another task for you after you complete his quest Ill Communication.

This time he needs you to kill 8 mountain shriekers.

Kill them and return to Garl Copperstroke for your reward and the next quest Searching for Sweetdough.
