EQ2 Quest:Lore and Legend: Nightblood  

This quest is initiated by reading the book "The Nightblood". This book can be found by examining a book in Rivervale at -193.5, -19, -18.82. This is in the tailor shop and guarded by a couple of aggressive halflings. The book is on a timer, so if someone picks it up you will need to wait for it to respawn.

You must study 8 items to find out more anout the Nightbloods. Three of these items are automatic updates randomly when you kill Nightbloods. The other 5 must be obtained from Nightblood drops or by buying/trading with other players. They are:

Updates:

• A Nightblood Doom Essence
• A Nightblood Forged Horn
• A Nightblood Heart of Darkness

Drops:

• A Nightblood Hoof
• A Nightblood Inferno Eye
• A Nightblood Tooth
• A Nightblood Shackle
• A Nightblood Darkened Blood

The reward is a furniture version of the book and a trophy which can be placed in your home. You also receive a nice chunk of experience.

Completing this quest allows your Master Strike, Master Smite or Master Rage to affect Nightbloods.
