EQ2 Quest:Lore and Legend: Giant  

This quest is initiated by clicking on a tarp at a gnoll camp in the Thundering Steppes (+1395.44, -0.56, -391.76). This will result in a book called "Know Your Giants". Reading this book will initiate the quest.

You must collect three auto-update pieces by killing giants in any zone where they exist. These three pieces will update in your journal automatically when giants are killed, but are rare drops:

A Giant Spirit A Giant Eye A Giant Heart

You then must collect five lore pieces that drop on the corpses (not chests) of giants. These are tradeable and you must study them by examining them. They are:

A Giant Toe A Giant Finger A Giant Tooth A Giant Whisker A Giant Ear

The reward is a furniture version of the book, and a trophy for your home.

Completeing this quest allows your Master Strike, Master Smite or Master Rage to affect Giants.
