This quest is initiated by reading "A History of the Centaur". This book is a timed spawn on a bed in Thundermist Village at +595.29, -1.94, -145). This is near Minty Frostbeard.

Completing this quest will grant you a furniture version of the book and a trophy for your home. You must acquire and examine (either from manually examining or just from hunting) the following components:

• A Centaur Spirit
• A Centaur Heart
• A Centaur Brain

Drops:

• A Centaur Hoof
• A Centaur Eye
• A Centaur Hand
• A Centaur Ear
• A Centaur Mane

Completing this quest allows your Master Strike, Master Smite or Master Rage to affect Centaurs.
