EQ2 Quest:Fiery Jewel of the Underfoot  

Pre-requisites

1. This quest does not function like most normal quests. Head to Tenebrous Tangle and speak with Kinloch Skry'mir at -35.24, 24.07, 214.46.
2. After speaking with him, head out to Lavastorm and go to the docks.
3. Speak with Researcher Sel'Quar at -150.43, -117.37, 633.58. She will start the quest.
4. It is recommended that you complete To Speak As A Dragon before tackling Epic Repercussions as you will need it.

The Actual Quest!

1. Now that the quest is actually in your journal, head out to The Sundered Frontier and to Paineel.
2. Speak with Sa'ib Waseem at 1996.06, -298.99, 3341.14 to update the quest.
3. When that is done, head to the launch pad and use the temporal guide to travel to the Eye of Dartain.
4. The book is a clicky on a desk at 1804.89, -0.44, 4304.52. It's got a star on the cover.
5. Return to Sa'ib Waseem in Paineel at 1996.06, -298.99, 3341.14.
6. Now the quest has updated, take the teleporter to Old Paineel and run to 1255.02, -166.53, 3295.11. This is in the Vermin Caves.
7. Right-click and select "Inspect Body". Return to Sa'ib Waseem in Paineel at 1996.06, -298.99, 3341.14.
8. Now go BACK to the Vermin Caves and start killing scavenging and wandering vermin. The item is a rare body drop and it's called "Gnawed Jewel of the Underfoot".
9. Return to Sa'ib Waseem in Paineel at 1996.06, -298.99, 3341.14. He will send you out bits to get a new jewel.
1. Kill 12 "a underfoot levitatestone" for updates. They're around the Eye of Dartain.
2. Kill 8 "a stonecold carrion" or "a stonegraft scoundrel". These are around 1416.69, -29.02, 3724.27
3. Collect 6 Twilight Blooms. these are found as follows:
1. 573.54, 144.58, 3052.61
2. 523.95, 146.04, 3179.28
3. 450.51, 144.85, 3170.54
4. 483.14, 148.95, 3193.47
5. 533.54, 124.24, 3341.79
6. 667.18, 151.13, 3009.05
10. Return to Sa'ib Waseem in Paineel at 1996.06, -298.99, 3341.14. Now it's back to the vermin caves!
11. The update is at 1293.81, -249.34, 3241.62. Your arrow will turn into a hand. Right-click when it does. This breaks invis.
12. Malefactor Reekiteeth will spawn. He's an 85, single-up mob. Kill him!
13. Pickup the jewel and return to Sa'ib Waseem in Paineel. This completes the quest.
