Maybe that pesky little rumor about owning personal chocobos will come to pass for the Year of the Rooster event reward? Wouldn't that be spectacular?

I don't know about anyone else, but I rather liked breeding chocobos once upon a time on a game that I can only vaguely remember... >.< Vana'diel is a cruel, unrelenting mistress..

/cry Happy memories. I was only a 21 rdm when that happened, but I was there; killed the E. Saruta Treant.

If you weren't there, you missed out on something special, but you do get to enjoy the prize (outpost teleport. now that's a good event reward ^_^).

After that was also the Opo-opo families that replaced the Treants (for the year of the monkey). I wonder what they're going to have this year for the year of the Rooster (Cocktrices perhaps?)

However, I wonder what they could have as the prize of a server-wide all-areas event like that, since we already have outpost teleports.

Totally. Treants were by far the greatest event of all. The only one where you didn't end up with some silly item at the end, but the one where everyone wasted days, and has "OMG that was soooo coool" memories
