We will be conducting a PlayOnline Viewer version update accompanied by server maintenance at the following date and time. Thank you for your patience. *The client software will also be updated at this time. The version update process will automatically begin when you login to PlayOnline. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen. [Affected Period] Oct. 28, 2004 from 0:00 (PDT) [Important Update Details] - Fixed an issue wherein the "PlayOnline Viewer Config" test connection function panel does not work properly when a PC is connected via LAN network. - The quick manuals have been updated to accommodate Ver.1.14.03h. - Fixed other minor issues.

I love how they said "Fixed other minor issues" - the windower.

My friends are telling me their windower is dead (mine died from last patch & couldnt get it to work).

SQUARE THINK ABOUT IT! GIVE US AN OFFICIAL WINDOWER & NOBODY WILL MAKE 3rd Party programs!

if you want to argue it increases botting, no it doesnt, smart bot/hackers run background apps most times on another PC.

If anything, it's to decrease our boredom! "Waiting 10 mins on an airship" isnt fun last time i checked.

Windower only works when there are no POL/FFXI updates. Simply open POL normally, update, and exit. Then open again with Windower.

Now for some -constructive- advice. :P

Try re-installing your video drivers if you're sure it worked fine beforehand. It is unlikely that your video card would break without you noticing; your desktop would likely look noticeably different.

Better than "omg u noob ur suspicions are wrong so I'z rate you down and tell u u suck".

Believe it or not it's not SE fault your card can break any time anywhere. If I were you I'd call SE and check. Or see if your grpahics card ins't broken in anyway.

this update has messed up my viewer. viewer doesn't work now just gives me an error message:

Error code = 20008010
Screen may not be displayed properly with current graphics card. Start PlayOnline Viewer anyway?

i havn't changed anything on my system from when i logged off maybe 1-2hours ago.

i can start it but its just black

nice patch there SE. i commend your greatness -_-
