Coming this fall, prepare to chase the open road and cross new horizons.

Fans of Forza and open-world racing, take note: Forza Horizon 2 is coming. The original Horizon, a well-received spin-off, has received a sequel coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The two platforms will have separate developers and engines:

• Xbox One: Built on the Forza 5 engine, led by Playground Games.
• Xbox 360: Built on the Forza Horizon engine, led by Sumo Digital.
• Note: The Forza Horizon engine is based on the Forza Motorsport 4 engine.

Without a question, we’ll learn more at the Xbox Press Conference at E3; with less than a week away, that information is...just over the horizon. Stay tuned!
