Play Games. Heal Kids.

The Extra Life Charity gaming marathon starts this Saturday!

We spend so much time playing the hero, what would you give to have a chance to be a hero for real?

Since 2008 the Extra Life gaming charity event has raised over $4 million dollars by staging 24 hour gaming marathons. Starting this Saturday, November 2, they hope to add to that already impressive number and break their record of $2.3 million dollars set last year.

Gamers from around the world will be coming together this weekend to support the ongoing efforts of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which this year is celebrating 30 years of supporting children's hospitals.

So you like games and have a few dollars to spare? Then I suppose pitching in is a no brainer for you, right? I mean, what possible reason could you have for not helping sick children? What could you possibly do with your money that would see it go to a better cause? So as you are definitely going to donate, you'll want to know how!

There are plenty of people already registered and raring to go, just waiting for your sponsorship, or if you have a little time to spare this weekend you still have time to sign up yourself!
