BlizzCon Schedule Released

Calendar of events for both days and convention floor map now available.

This week Blizzard finally released the event schedule for this year's BlizzCon in Anaheim, CA. From opening ceremony at 10AM on Friday, November 8th to the closing concert on at 6:30PM on November 9th, every panel, tournament and contest is outlined for in-person and Virtual Ticket attendees to plan out their two days. A floor map was also included with the new schedules, so those going to the show can figure out which panels they'll have to run across the convention center to catch and where they can play Heroes of the Storm while waiting for the next one.

Of course it wouldn't be a BlizzCon if we didn't have some pre-show speculation. We already know what Heroes of the Storm is from today's trailer. For Diablo 3 we've already been told that Reaper of Souls will be playable on both PC and PS4 on the convention floor. Titan's off the table after the announcement earlier this year that it was delayed until at least 2016. That leaves us with StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft for any major opening ceremony announcements.

The Heart of the Swarm expansion for SC2 came out in March, so it's a bit early for Blizzard to show off the next expansion. Combine this with the lack of any SC2 playable area on the floor map (unless it's considered part of the Heroes of the Storm section) and it seems even less likely. World of Warcraft on the other hand not only has the largest playable demo area, but it has panels like "World of Warcraft: What's Next" and "World of Warcraft: The Adventure Continues". If it were just these panel names, I might have been able to say that these were just related to future direction now that Siege of Orgrimmar has been released and Garrosh has been defeated, but why would they have such a giant playable area for an expansion that's been out over a year now?

That's just my take on what the calendar shows. How about the rest of you? What answers do you see lurking in those two days of events?
