The latest Dust 514 Dev Diary showcases a dropsuit fit for any occasion

CCP has posted a new video Dev Diary on the Dust 514 site giving us some more information on drop suits and fittings in the upcoming MMO shooter. Game designer Gavin Frankle explains some of the different dropsuits currently available and the wide array of customization available through fittings.

The video showcases three different categories of dropsuits, available in small, medium, and large frame sizes. But don't let that fool you into thinking your options are limited. It's the ability to upgrade and customize your drop suit with a variety of weapons, devices and gadgets that allow the player the flexibility to adapt to the situation and step into whatever role their teammates need most. As you can see in the screenshot below, CCP is dedicated to giving you tons of options and ensuring that each player can have a unique flavor to their dropsuit.

While the video shows us only the four dropsuits currently in the game, Gavin Frankle promises there are more to come.

"...we're hard at work expanding that list, so that each race has one of each frame size that plays to their strengths and weakness."
